-When 'Vikings' is a trending topic on twitter, it doesn't mean that people are actually talking about vikings. It's about a sports team and I know this. Double-checking only leads to further disappointment.

-Giant cookies are amazing. Size of my head, I swear.

-Middlesex is a pretty good book, though the ending was kind of... meh. This might just be me though, since it's almost impossible for me to be satisfied with an ending. Reading Lord of the Flies (for class) and One Hundred Years of Solitude next, which I would probably enjoy more if there weren't massive amount of notes that I have to do for the first one. Am not actually doing them but still.

-We're probably going to be watching The Princess and the Frog this weekend, if anyone has nothing better to do and would like to join us. I actually have no clue where movie theatres are downtown (I prefer Woodbine's sticky floors and 4 dollar tickets) so it should be an adventure! Really!

-DTAC! Will most likely be there, maybeprobablynotincosplay. Actually, will probably be there for a bit and then just go skating to the place near the Eaton centre. If I do end up going, it'll be just to see Newmarket people in their sexy outfits ;D

-There's no snow in Toronto yet. WHAT THE HELL.

-Hey guys hey guys, what do you want for Christmas :| Can do cards if anyone wants them, as well as movie gifts for Toronto peeps, probably. And, uh, if you guys know of anyone that would enjoy Inuyasha doujinshi's (stop laughing, it's a long story), send them my way because they deserve a good home. Additionally, Death Note Live Action movies. I has them.

-I know a lot of you are having a hard time/week/month but. Take a breath. Relax for a sec and slow down. Do something you love and then plan out what you have to do. I can't really give advice because hey, I pretty much spend 80% of my life freaking out about something or other but still, you guys are such brilliant, brilliant people and I love you all dearly. Eat some chocolate for me, would you? :)

And now I go back to e-mailing several people at once so that these things can be planned this week and why won't anyone reply quickly and damn it I will kill everyone in the world.

THE GOOD:

-Hetalia day. Was much fun and I'm really glad people seemed to enjoy themselves. Uh, everyone is kinda hoping for a repeat once the weather is better, which would be amazing. I'm thinking Center Island so we can go hijack the games.

-Okay, yeah, H-day related again, but I was just so happy to see people from Fan Expo again! There are plans in the works for DotCon with them, which.. I guess I'm going to Dot Con? Maybe? Didn't hear particularly good things about it last year, and Idk what the hell I would go as, but there'll be people there. Might just go to pay Minji back for the key chain <3

-Halloween!

The Bad:

-Somehow, I've acquired swine flu. Oops, how did that happen? I'm okay, it's only a mild case, but I've been taking medicine like crazy and have to keep a mask on until tomorrow.

-Following on that, the part that bothers me the most is that I'm missing classes for a week. Probably the worst week to happen, as I have an in-class essay to do worth 22 percent of my mark that I'm missing. B| Not cool, pig flu.

-Halloween plans are probably ruined baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw

My internet is a very hateful thing and makes me sad. So sad I'm leaving my assignment to be rushed tomorrow along with everything else I was supposed to do. It'll be fun, except the part where I attempt to kill something because it's so bloody frustrating.

In non-violent news, I'm apparently going to go see Hedley tomorrow instead of going to school! I wasn't aware of this! I can't figure out why they're performing at the conference! I don't even know who else is supposed to be there, but I presume it'll be veryimportantpeople from Free The Children. Should be fun.




From the TWEWY photoshoot with CN and Amy :) The skull on my Rhyme hat was on the wrong side, so of course we only figured it out about halfway through the shoot. Oh snap, I think Elisa's dead, when did that happen? This lady's crazy, you guys, she keeps shooting people. It's so much more ~dramatic~ than Las Estrellas de... someone, but not as funny. And it doesn't have the girl from Floribella in it, whom I have a huge crush on, she's so cute.

Because I am a failure. Actually, I was in a horrible mood the whole weekend for various reasons so I kind of failed at the being social thing. Right! I keep forgetting to say, I have a twitter. NialyJoy, which shows how original I am. I'm much more active there than anywhere else as uh. 150 words and all that.

At least Argentina lost their game as well. There's some justice in the world. AND I EXPECT LOTS OF FUN TIMES IN THIS HOUSE WHEN IT'S CHILE vs. COLOMBIA, SO FUN THAT SOMEONE WILL PROBABLY GET PUNCHED.
 

 

The last few weeks/days/hours have been insane, running around and seeing people and trying to enjoy the last few weeks of summer before school starts. Not to mention that my cousins have finally moved into their house and now they come over all the bloody time. While this normally wouldn't bother me as I love my cousins, they have this thing where they wake me up. I have issues in the morning, yes.

ANYWAYS, RECAP.

- Lazer tag = Awesome. I still suck. Lithuania is surprisingly very good at shooting things. I couldn't get over this.

-Picnic = Fun. I was aching for like, two days after wards. Probably had to do something with the multiple times I LANDED ON MY ASS PLAYING ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS >| The Holy Russian Empire is frightening. I should put those pictures up so you can all be scared with me <3

-District 9 is responsible for making me hate the human race until I remembered that, hey, it was a movie. I still like the aliens, though.

-I would say that my cosplay is coming along well, but I'd be lying.

Something I've discovered (well, more like come to terms with) is how ridiculously awkward I am in groups. I'm shy, but in a stupid way in that my mouth gets away from me and I get nervous and rambly. dhsajdks I'm stupid

   Unrelated, but I finally got my fabric for Fan Expo. It's very.... blue. I'm happy that I went because apparently I got some really expensive fabrive for 2.50 a yard since someone had put it back in the wrong spot. Now all that's left is to.. actually make the costume, fix the wig, and figure out how the bloody hell I'm supposed to make the damn hat. DAMN YOU AND YOUR HAT HRE, DAMN YOU.

Uuuh, I'm selling things? Anyone know who would like Inuyasha doujins? I can't remember how I got them and I never even watched the show. Also! Monochrome Factor anime! Because I'm an idiot and I didn't ask which language it was subbed in, so now I have a Japanese show with Chinese subs and I speak neither.

 

I was going to reply to people and comment on friends entries (YOU CAN DO IT TIERFAL <3!) but all I really want to do is go to bed. I have sand in very uncomfortable places and my face hurts and and and I am not an outdoors person, okay.

At least I'm getting pizza tomorrow. And maybe a phone call from Chile, which will be nice if it's my grandparents. But Pizza. Must remember the pizza. Oh, and maybe possibly getting my hair cut :D I'm kind of sad that I can't do a short-short style until Decmber, though.

Also, pachi! Greece! Are you still going to Taste of the Danforth and if so, which day? :| I promised to stalk you and I intend to keep my promise but my msn is insane. Anyone else going who I should stalk look out or?

My grandparents had a ridiculously romantic story. Not just the how-we-met part, but their whole marriage reads like aromance novel. I think I may have forotten some of it but the gist of it was:

1. Met when my grandpa was riding on his horse to visit my grandma's dad.
2. Saw each other very rarely after that.
3. He wrote her love letters. That was their whole dating experience. Love letters that, apparently, are still with one of my aunt's.
4. Thay had their first kiss when they got married. Srsly.

And then they had 13 children before my grandpa passed away of cancer. Abuelita was never with anyone again and remained a widow for... some 30 years or so.

OTHER THAN THAT, I HAVE BEEN HAVING A VERY boring as hell  RELAXING SUMMER. More excited for this month as there are ~things to do~. Mostly sewing mine and Suki's cosplay for Fan Expo, which will be fun as I have no money to buy my wig as of now. \o/ I might guilt my brother into buying it for me :D

Oh right, excited for this weekend, yesyesyes. I decided not to do anything for my birthday as I'm a lazy bum, but I'm going with some people to P-mall to have food and play in the arcade. IT'LL BE MUCH FUN, SURELY.

I've realized that it's probably not possible for me to get past easy on drums when playing Rock Band. I can fake medium for guitar and bass and expert for mike. BUT THE DRUMS ARE NOT IN MY BLOOD DAMN IT, WHY DID I WASTE THREE YEARS PLAYING CELLO. (because it's awesome, by the way)

Also, I did something weird to my neck while trying to simultaneously kill David with tickles and watch the screen at the same time. It hurts me bad, but it was worth it as revenge had to had. Bastard was sitting on me.

Any of you lovely people know where I can buy/download/steal Alexander Rybak's CD? And in a way that it won't cost me more than 4o dollars?

Unrelated, but the thought of back-packing through the south of my country does not fill me with as much glee as say, visiting distant family I have never met in Spain. Obviously I am not the back-packing type, which means another christmas without Melaiza, woe~

I, personally, partied it up in Canada's name. And by that I mean the picnic actually happened and went quite well :D Well, from what people tell me, anyways. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR COMING OUT \O/  Can't wait to start working on the next cosplays and seeing everyone again!

Today, I had a wonderful day in which I did absolutely nothing. Tidied up my room a bit, searched for some recipes to try out, and started reading Violinist of Hameln. Haven't gotten far but it's looking pretttttyyy good. Even if he is kind of a jerk.

Which reminds me that still have to finish Nabari, damn it self, stop procrastinating.

OH RIGHT. I was wondering, who else has read/finished reading Honey Dew Syndrome? Because guys, I need someone to share my rage with. That ending was the most ridiculous thing  I have ever read. Honeysyn, you used to be so awesome. And now you leave in a disapointing conclusion that made no damn sense.

But anyways, how is everyone? Anyone as excited as I am for the new Harry Potter movie? I'm thinking I'll have to drag Suki to the theatre with me if no one else wants to go. And to all you Americans, don't get too drunk. Canadians, your hang overs should have left by now. If they haven't, you either partied really hard or have yet to put down the bottle. Either way, don't let Russia catch you with your defenses low.

Hello all! Back from camping, and let me say, I am never doing that again.

So. many. bug. bites.

It was fun to spend time with M again, and whereeverthehellwewere was beautiful. There was also a Ouija board involved last night, which I loved because I'm weird like that.

Right now though, I'm kind of freaking out/ pissed off.

I don't know what the hell is going to happen for the Canada day meet-up, seeing as everything is canceled. All the Mel Lastman activities, fire works, even Centreville. Not to mention the fact that it's apparently going to rain on wednesday. We're trying to figure out if we should change the place or still go to Mel Lastman or what. I'm at the point right now where I kind of want to say screw it all, but I can't.

So. Any suggestions?

In unrelated news, Gakuen outfit is coming along pretty well. Need to iron the pleats and sew the whole thing together. Will do that when, you know, I stop looking at amazing things on youtube.

In awesome news, I GOT MY LAPTOP BACK HELL YES I missed my baby so much ;_; Also, done school and managed to pass math with a decent mark despite barely passing my exam. Am getting kidnapped by PL people this weekend to celebrate. And by celebrate, I mean fight moose and bears. And by that I mean camping. But it's in Canada, and as I have never actually properly camped in Canada, I assume bears and moose are involved. Possibly beavers.
